Terms of service
1. Who you are buying from
Atelier Rosaline is the trading name of an entrepreneur individuel (sole trader) registered in France, RCS Strasbourg 101 185 403, 7 Route de Niederhausbergen, 67206 Mittelhausbergen, France. The trader is identified by name on our Legal notice page.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on atelier-rosaline.com. By placing an order you accept them. Nothing here removes or limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.
3. Placing an order
Adding an item to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you complete checkout, and the contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot fulfil an order we tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include all applicable taxes. Delivery is free. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay: there are no charges added afterwards, and nothing to pay on delivery.
VAT not applicable — Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
We take payment when you place the order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. If a price is obviously wrong we will tell you before dispatch and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Delivery
See our Delivery page. Goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you.
6. Cancelling and returning
See our Returns and refunds page, which sets out your 14-day right to cancel and your rights if something is faulty.
7. Our products
Most of our boxes are made from natural wood; three of them are fabric over a wood frame, and this is stated on their product pages. On the wooden boxes, grain, colour and figure vary from one piece to the next, so your item will not be identical to the photographs. That variation is a property of the material, not a fault. Dimensions are given to the nearest half centimetre.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Your personal data
We handle your data as described in our Privacy policy.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, and you keep the full benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. If you have a complaint, email contact@atelier-rosaline.com first: we answer within one working day and we would always rather solve a problem directly.
