Anella Walnut Bangle Box

Bangles are awkward to store. Stacked in a drawer they scratch each other; hung on a stand they slide off. This walnut box gives each one a slot of its own, cut to hold a bangle standing up rather than lying flat.

Made for

• Gold and silver bangles kept apart so the edges never rub
• Jade and stone bangles that chip against harder metal
• Cuffs and wide bracelets stood upright in single slots
• A collection that grows: seven slots to start with, twelve when it needs them
• Shutting the gold-tone lock when the room is shared

The details

Wood: Solid black walnut
Lining: Velvet on the solid-lid version
Closure: Gold-tone lock
Layout: Seven or twelve upright bangle slots; clear glass lid to see the row at a glance, or a solid walnut lid to keep it covered

Dimensions: 7-slot 20 × 12.5 × 10.5 cm (7.87 × 4.92 × 4.13 in); 12-slot 31.5 × 12.5 × 10.5 cm (12.40 × 4.92 × 4.13 in)

Good to know

• Walnut carries its own knots and grain, so no two boxes are patterned alike.
• Measurements are taken by hand; allow around 0.5 cm (0.2 in).
• Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from radiators, damp and direct sunlight.
