Ornata Embroidered Jewellery Box

An embroidered lid changes what a jewellery box does on a dressing table: it stays out on view rather than shut away in a drawer. Ornata is cut from solid black walnut and topped with a stitched textile panel worked in gold and red thread. Two designs are available, Phoenix and Rivermount.

• Walnut carries its own grain, knots and colour shifts, so no two lids match exactly.
• Embroidery is stitched by hand; placement and thread density vary slightly from piece to piece.
• Measurements are taken by hand; allow around 0.5 cm (0.2 in).
• Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from radiators, damp and direct sunlight.
