A watch left flat in a drawer picks up marks on the case back and creases in the strap; on a cushion it does neither. This box holds three, five or ten of them under a tempered glass top, in solid North American walnut with a brass latch.

Glazing: Tempered glass top
Closure: Brass latch
Layout: 3, 5 or 10 cushioned slots. Small cushion 5.8 × 5.2 cm (2.3 × 2.0 in), suited to a strap circumference of 17.2–19.8 cm (6.8–7.8 in); large cushion 6.9 × 5.2 cm (2.7 × 2.0 in), for anything over 19.8 cm (7.8 in)
